Today, our students with good behavior (3rd-5th) were rewarded by attending a Traditional Lacrosse Camp sponsored by Great Plains Tribal Health. The camp will continue tomorrow, Saturday Sep. 6th at 10am at College Park in Rapid City, if you would like to take your children.

*Perfect Attendance Fishing Field Trip...Students who have *perfect attendance from Sep 2nd to Oct 10th will have the opportunity to attend a fishing field trip in October! *Students will be allowed 1 day of absence, due to sickness or family emergency, and still be allowed to attend the trip. There will be two separate trips (PreK-2nd, 3rd-8th).

Wow, we had such an awesome Back to School Night! Thank you parents, students and staff for making it a great experience. The food, clothing give away, games, classroom visits and brochures...everything was time well spent together!

This past Friday, our 6th-8th grade class participated in the Lakota Horse Camp in Rapid City. We'd like to express our appreciation to those who sponsored, presented, and organized the event. Our students had a great experience and were very vocal about how much they enjoyed their day!

Parents and Guardians, we start school in two days! Wednesday, August 13th will be our first day. Please come in and register your students as soon as possible if you haven't yet. We are here to assist you. Great attendance is a huge factor for student success!
Your child(ren) won't need backpacks from home. They will be provided with a clear backpack from the school. Please remind students to leave their valuables, devices and phones at home so they can concentrate on learning.
We are excited and happy to see the students and begin a great school year!

Anpetu Waste! Today, we are at the Oglala Service Center for Registration. Please stop by and let us assist you with enrolling your child(ren). We'll be here from 9am-3pm.

Parents/Guardians, we scheduled another Registration Event. This is a great opportunity to receive support with the online registration process. We'll have devices and staff to assist you in the process. New student registration will require the following documents: birth certificate, immunization records (updated), academic transcripts (from previous school), proof of physical address, and custody/guardianship papers. You may also come to the school campus and register your children. We look forward to seeing you!

Red Shirt School will be set-up at the Oglala Service Center on Tuesday, July 29th from 9am-3pm. Our registration is online this year. There will be devices and support provided. We hope to see you there!

CHANGE: Registration for the 2025-2026 School year is now open! You should receive, through the mail, instructions for registering online. The administration strongly recommends that parents use their own devices for enrollment. If you don't have a device, you can come to the service center in Oglala on July 29th from 9am-3pm and we'll have devices available. We look forward to all of our students returning this school year!
