Good morning, Oglala Lakota County School District parents, students, and families. This is Connie Kaltenbach, Superintendent. There will be no school today for students and staff. The predicted snow didn't come to our area as the National Weather Forcast had expected, but the wind is still forecast to blow in gusts up to 50 mph. To ensure the safety of our students and staff on the buses, we will be closed today. March has come in like a lion. This will impact our schools at Batesland, Red Shirt, Rockyford, Wolf Creek, Lakota Tech High School, the Virtual High School, and the District Office.
School will resume on time tomorrow.
